First, make sure to leave off city, state, zip code, and any apartment or suite number if your address has one. Only type in the house number and street name and hit Search. You’ll be able to enter an apartment/suite number on the next screen, and we don’t need the city, state, or zip code to locate the address.
There are a few reasons why an address might not be found when you search:
- It’s not an address legally recognized by the Village. The address you’re used to seeing and using might not be one that is officially associated with the parcel of land it’s on.
- The Village’s GIS department may still be updating your neighborhood, especially if there has been a recent subdivision.
- There may be an address error in our database.
If you’ve tried entering an address without an apartment/suite number, city, state, or zip code and still can’t find it, please call the One Stop Shop for assistance in determining what the legal address is for the location you’re searching for.
